MoldChem Tools sets no cookies and does not track you. We use a small amount of your browser's local storage purely to make the tools work and to remember your own choices. None of it is used for advertising, analytics profiling, or cross-site tracking.

1. Summary
MoldChem Tools sets no cookies and does not track you. We use a small amount of your browser's local storage purely to make the tools work and to remember your own choices. None of it is used for advertising, analytics profiling, or cross-site tracking. Because this storage is strictly necessary to provide functionality you have requested, it does not require a consent banner under the ePrivacy Directive (and PECR in the UK).
2. We use no cookies
The Site does not set any cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for tracking. The code never writes to document.cookie. There are no third-party advertising or marketing pixels, tags, or trackers of any kind.
3. Browser storage we do use (strictly functional)
The Site stores a few items in your browser's localStorage and sessionStorage. These stay on your device; they are not transmitted to us for tracking.

All of the above are functional — they exist only to deliver features you use. They contain no advertising identifiers and are not used to profile you.
4. Links that remember your inputs (URL state)
Many tools reflect your inputs into the page URL so you can bookmark or share a link to a specific result. This is a convenience feature, not tracking — but it means a link you save or share may reveal what you typed (for example, a chemical name). Avoid sharing links that contain anything you consider sensitive. See the Privacy Policy for more on this.
5. Analytics (cookie-free)
The Site uses two cookie-free analytics services — Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami (Umami Cloud) — that record only anonymous aggregate metrics (such as page views and referrers) without setting any cookie or storing a tracking identifier in your browser. Because neither sets a cookie nor builds a profile of you, they require no consent banner. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
6. Managing storage
You can view and clear the items above at any time through your browser's settings (typically under “Site data”, “Storage”, or “Clear browsing data”) or via your browser's developer tools. Clearing them is safe: it simply resets the functional conveniences described above. Because we set no cookies and use no tracking, there is nothing to “opt out” of beyond clearing this functional storage.
7. What we don't use
For clarity, the Site uses no: cookies; Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or Fonts; advertising or marketing pixels; social-media embeds; A/B testing; or session-replay tools. Fonts are self-hosted, so loading the Site does not call any third-party CDN.
